MILWAUKEE -- Marquette freshman
guard Duane Wilson has a stress fracture in his
left leg and will miss the start of the season, the Golden Eagles announced
Monday. Wilson, who is expected to miss several weeks, was a consensus top-100
recruit as a senior at Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay and helped lead
the team to the Wisconsin state championship as a senior in 2012-13.
Wilson is the second player Marquette has lost in a week. Junior forward
Jameel McKay left the Golden Eagles last week.
