NC State Defeats UNC Pembroke 96-85 in Exhibition Opener

The NC State men's basketball team opened up its 2013-14 exhibition season with a 96-85 win over UNC Pembroke on Wednesday night at Reynolds Coliseum.Sophomore forward T.J. Warren notched a double-double on the night, leading all scorers with 26 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Tyler Lewis dished out a game-high 15 assists, while redshirt junior transfer guard Ralston Turner added 20 points. Junior guard Desmond Lee and true freshman Anthony 'Cat' Barber had 16 and 14 points, respectively, for the Wolfpack. Six new players saw action for head coach Mark Gottfried, including true freshmen Kyle Washington, who started the game at power forward, BeeJay Anya and Barber.
